Max Haiven – Ficticious Capital

Max Haiven, assistant professor in the Division of Art History and Critical Studies at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, gave a talk at the CPPE on the 17th of March on fictitious capital and metaphoric wealth. Max is author of Crises of Imagination, Crises of Power: Capitalism, Creativity and the Commons, the forthcoming The Radical Imagination (with Alex Khasnabish) and Cultures of Financialization: Fictitious Capital in Popular Culture and Everyday Life.
